July 30, 2018
Today’s walk was 16.26 miles from Belorado to San Juan de Ortega on the Camino de Santiago.
I started alone but after stopping for breakfast, Julia and Astrid caught up with me. We also walked with Basil and Patrick from London. Philipp from Austria rejoined us in San Juan de Ortega. Basil is a teacher and we had some great conversations.
Since I am walking West for the most part, I do turnaround periodically to see if I like the view. This photo is of a sunrise that I turned around to get outside of Belorado.
Overall, I am doing well. The three blisters I got a few days ago have hardened. So I am pleased my body has handled everything well.

P.S. I recorded the first episode of “ASK GORDON” after Day 11 (July 30, 2018) on the Camino de Santiago. This was originally shared in my Facebook Journal. I didn’t get to all of the questions but have them written in my book and will give the unanswered questions the first priority in the next video.
