Day 37: Life after My Camino de Santiago

Today was relatively uneventful. I caught a bus from Finisterre to Santiago de Compostela and checked into my hotel before I met Jade and Christin for lunch. After lunch I walked them to their bus stop where they caught a bus to the airport.

I then spent the rest of the day gathering information that will be helpful in planning the things I will be doing over the next few days.

I also decided to see a magic act in a private room in the hotel. I was told it would be in English but it turns out I was the only English speaking person in attendance so he did his act in Spanish. He was good, but not understanding what he was saying hurt my ability to follow him. Oh, well.

6. This is the Hostal de los Reyes Católicas next to the Cathedral. It was originally a hostel, infirmary, and orphanage but has been converted and restored into a luxury hotel. I will be spending the next four nights here.
