I have been a workaholic my entire life so I am proud to say that I have yet to go to the office and have not checked emails since I left on July 17th. And I promise you that I won't be in the office until Tuesday, September 4th.

To stay in the spirit of the Camino I drove to Brunswick, Maryland and walked 15.91 miles on the C&O Canal Towpath. The Appalachian Trail made up part of my walk and I also walked up to Maryland Heights to take this photo of Harpers Ferry. There was a light drizzle to start the day and it was overcast the entire time.
The last time I was at the Maryland Heights Overlook was when my nephew, Willard, was with me. I remember how difficult it was with the elevation gain. It felt good walking up without the difficulty I had that summer.
I am posting this early today since it is the first day of the Scott Frost Era at Nebraska. I will be watching the game in Arlington, Virginia with some other Nebraska fans. Go Big Red!
And lastly, I will most likely go someplace tomorrow to create Episode 6 of ASK GORDON. Stay tuned.
