As my friends may recall, in 2018 I walked 35 days and 618 miles on a pilgrimage on The Way of St. James (otherwise known as The French Way or the Camino de Santiago). On August 11, 2018, I walked to Cruz de Ferro before sunrise where I knelt at the Iron Cross and left a rock I brought from Falls Church where I live. This is a piece of art that Elaine Hruska painted that is based upon a photo that was taken of me that morning kneeling at the Cross. This will be fun to see for the rest of my life. Thanks, Elaine.
